Drafts
A draft is a message you’ve started but haven’t sent yet. BridgeApp saves it for you automatically, so you can get pulled away mid-sentence and come back to find your words exactly where you left them.
How drafts work
Section titled “How drafts work”As you type, BridgeApp keeps your unsent text safe on your device. If you switch to another chat, get interrupted, or close the app, the draft stays. When you return to that conversation, it’s waiting in the composer, ready to finish.
This works per conversation: you can have one draft in #design, another in a DM, and another in a thread, and each one is kept separately. There’s a single draft per chat or thread — the latest thing you were writing there.
A draft sticks around until you do one of two things:
- Send it — it becomes a message and the draft clears.
- Clear it yourself — delete the text and the draft goes with it.
