Deployment & Data Residency
One of BridgeApp’s defining choices is that you decide where it runs. You can start instantly in the cloud, and move to a private cloud or your own servers whenever full control becomes important. For many teams, that flexibility is the reason they choose BridgeApp at all.
Your deployment options
Section titled “Your deployment options”| Option | Where it runs | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud | BridgeApp’s managed cloud | Getting started fast, with nothing to operate yourself |
| Private cloud | A dedicated environment in your cloud account | Teams that want isolation and control without running hardware |
| On-premise | Your own servers, inside your network | Organizations that must keep data fully in-house |
Private cloud and on-premise deployments are part of the Enterprise plan. The promise is simple: your data, your servers, your control.
What “data residency” means
Section titled “What “data residency” means”Data residency is just the question of where, physically and legally, your data lives. For a lot of organizations — banks, law firms, healthcare providers, public-sector teams — the answer is not optional. Rules may require that data stays within a specific country, region, or inside the organization’s own walls.
Because you choose where BridgeApp runs, you also choose where your data resides. Run it on-premise and your data never leaves your infrastructure. Run it in a private cloud in a specific region and it stays in that region.
Bringing your own keys
Section titled “Bringing your own keys”For the strictest requirements, BridgeApp supports BYOK (bring your own keys) — your organization holds the encryption keys, so you stay in control of access to your own data. BYOK is part of the Enterprise plan and is covered in more detail on Privacy & encryption.
