Mentions
A mention is how you tap someone on the shoulder inside a conversation. Type @ followed by a name, and that person gets notified that you’re talking to them — even if they aren’t actively watching the chat.
How to mention someone
Section titled “How to mention someone”- In the composer, type
@and start typing a name. - A list of matching people appears — pick the one you mean.
- Send the message. The mentioned person gets a notification, and the message shows up in their activity feed so it’s easy to find later.
You can mention several people in one message when something needs more than one set of eyes.
Summon an AI teammate
Section titled “Summon an AI teammate”Here’s where mentions become something special. Mentioning an AI participant — the Bridge copilot or one of your custom agents — doesn’t just notify it. It summons it. The agent joins the conversation and starts working on a response right there, using the context of the chat.
That means you can ask for a summary, a draft, an answer, or an action without leaving the discussion:
@Bridge can you summarize the last 20 messages and pull out any decisions we made?See Agents in your workspace for everything agents can do once you bring them in.
Mentioning yourself
Section titled “Mentioning yourself”You can mention yourself — handy for bookmarking a message or assigning yourself a follow-up in a group. BridgeApp is considerate about it, though: it won’t spam you with notifications for your own mentions.
