Do I need to install anything?
Section titled “Do I need to install anything?”No. You can use BridgeApp entirely in your browser. If you’d like a dedicated window with native notifications, there are desktop apps for macOS, Windows, and Linux, plus mobile apps for iOS and Android. See Install the apps.
How do I get started?
Section titled “How do I get started?”Sign up, create or join a workspace, and send your first message or create your first task. The Quickstart walks you through it in about five minutes.
Plans & billing
Section titled “Plans & billing”Is there a free plan?
Section titled “Is there a free plan?”Yes. The Free plan is free forever and includes unlimited members along with core collaboration and project management. See Plans.
How much is Pro?
Section titled “How much is Pro?”Pro is €9 per user per month, or €7.50 per user per month billed annually. It adds things like advanced search, role-based access, unlimited databases, and video calls. See Plans.
What are credits?
Section titled “What are credits?”Credits are a usage-based balance that powers AI features. They’re billed alongside your subscription, and you can top them up as needed. See Credits.
Is there an Enterprise option?
Section titled “Is there an Enterprise option?”Yes. Enterprise is custom-priced and adds on-premises or private-cloud deployment, white-labeling, Bring Your Own Keys, a dedicated account manager, and priority support. See Plans.
What’s the difference between the Bridge copilot and an agent?
Section titled “What’s the difference between the Bridge copilot and an agent?”Bridge is the always-available copilot built into your workspace — mention @Bridge anywhere for help. Agents are custom AI teammates you build for a specific role, with their own instructions, knowledge, and tools. See AI overview.
How is this different from Magic Coder?
Section titled “How is this different from Magic Coder?”BridgeApp’s copilot and agents run in the cloud and act inside your workspace. Magic Coder is a separate coding agent that runs locally in your terminal or IDE and edits your real files, while using your BridgeApp account for sign-in, billing, and history. Can AI see all my data?
Section titled “Can AI see all my data?”AI in BridgeApp can draw on your workspace context — that’s what makes it useful — but always within your permissions and your control. Agents only use the knowledge and tools you give them, and sensitive actions ask for your approval first. See Tools & knowledge.
Security & privacy
Section titled “Security & privacy”Is my data private?
Section titled “Is my data private?”Yes. Each workspace is fully isolated from every other, your data is encrypted, and access is governed by roles enforced on the server. See Privacy & encryption.
Can I self-host BridgeApp?
Section titled “Can I self-host BridgeApp?”Yes — on Enterprise you can run BridgeApp on your own private cloud or fully on-premises, giving you complete control over where your data lives. See Deployment & data residency.
What is BYOK?
Section titled “What is BYOK?”BYOK — “Bring Your Own Keys” — lets your organization supply its own encryption keys, so you hold the ultimate control over your data. It’s available on Enterprise. See Privacy & encryption.
Can I use BridgeApp on my phone?
Section titled “Can I use BridgeApp on my phone?”Yes. There are native apps for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play), great for notifications, quick replies, and calls on the go. See Mobile.
Which desktop app should I download?
Section titled “Which desktop app should I download?”Pick your operating system: macOS (Apple Silicon or Intel), Windows, or Linux. See Desktop for the download table and install steps.
Teams & guests
Section titled “Teams & guests”Can external people join?
Section titled “Can external people join?”Yes. You can invite external guests into specific chats, and people outside your workspace can join a call as temporary guests. Guests have limited, scoped access. See Invites & guests.
Can I assign work to an AI?
Section titled “Can I assign work to an AI?”You can. Agents can be added as task assignees and as members of channels, where they post progress and ask for your input when needed. See Agents at work.
